Update - 10 Things To Do Before and After Christmas
So the year is winding down and I find myself recapping on what happened and what didn't...
In relation to my New Year's Resolutions... I haven't made a million dollars and no, I am not bulletproof yet (December 17, 2006 post).

Umm...I think I am changing my environment in small and big ways... kinda like "big things popping; little things stopping"... kinda .
Also, prospects for me getting involved with green organizations within Long Island is good. I would like to see building codes change (no need for pitched or sloped roofs - flat roofs better), municipalities embracing sustainability (further subsidization and practical application of green principles)... et.c..etc.. i wonder...
but then again, chances for becoming an eco-warrior and saving New York from going underwater due to glacial flooding: bad.
by the way, Did you know? :
Evidence has scientists convinced that since the start of the Industrial Revolution in 1880, the average temperature of the planet has increased by just over one degree Fahrenheit, currently standing around 60°F. This seemingly insignificant change represents a fairly rapid warming trend. According to the UN-sanctioned Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), the Earth's inhabitants will be facing temperatures at least three, and as much as ten, degrees warmer by the end of the twenty-first century.
Moreover, the United States is responsible for one-quarter of the world's energy consumption, mostly the result of burning fossil fuels. This means that each American is directly or indirectly responsible for the release of approximately 20 tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) into the air each year.
- And we wonder why our bodies are filled with so many toxins and our health is so poor. It's in the air people! -
i dunnno, glacial flooding... States within U.S. already taking actions and not wanting people to go into mass hysteria... me, I already drowned once - I don't care...
boy *
so with New Year's Resolutions from last year fulfilled and unfulfilled, I find myself thinking towardthe next year and also, putting on another entirely new hat; that of an uncle...

... and with that in mind ...
