• I dislike talking about virtue and duty in my posts but I have to write about "Commitment" before I lose my thoughts on the matter and it disappears into the vortex of my sub-conscious mind.

  Commitment... commitment is a process. It is measured discipline and consistency. It means making yourself vulnerable, and being willing to disclose those things about yourself that make you uncomfortable. It involves doing what you say and committing to it. It means sucking it up and sometimes simply finishing it.

  It's about process... the good, bad, and ugly... you can make a commitment to a process. See it through and find what you have in the end is not what you really want; nonetheless, you remained committed. That is courage, loyalty, and honor... not that I know of such things.

  Do what you say, and don't promise beyond more than you are capable...

  So many people don't want to be friggin' committed!!
